EchoMark is on a mission to enable the seamless flow of private information. We pioneered an entirely new way to combat the rapidly growing threat of insider leaks and keep private information private. We now serve the largest organizations in the world, and we even help protect national secrets to help defend our democracy.

Customer demand for EchoMark is exploding. We’re now ready to significantly expand our tight-knit team while still maintaining the excellence and culture that define our success.

We are looking for the right person to join us as a founding recruiter. You will work directly with our co-founder and CEO, someone who deeply values building the right team. You'll ​be hands-on ​in the trenches: ​building ​process, sourcing ​top-tier candidates for engineering, product, sales, marketing, and operations. You will ​shape a ​candidate experience that's fast, ​thoughtful, and founder-led while demanding the excellence instilled in everything done at EchoMark. You will be a KEY part of Team EchoMark and our success.

What ​You'll Own

  • Carry the torch of our culture–purpose, excellence and hard work–and act as a filter to ensure we stay true to those values as we expand the team
  • End-to-end ​recruiting across critical technical (backend, ​infrastructure, AI/ML, etc.) and non-technical ​(product, sales, marketing, biz ops, etc.) roles 
  • Build and ​refine foundational hiring ​processes, from ​scorecards ​and ​sourcing ​strategy to closing mechanics
  • Partner closely with the founders to shape interview loops ​and hiring decisions
  • Proactively ​build a referral-first sourcing ​strategy, while ​owning ​outbound pipeline development
  • Ensure a white-glove candidate experience that ​reflects our ​culture and moves quickly
  • Select and ​set up ​tools to manage ​your ​workflow ​(ATS, scheduling, comms)
  • Act ​as the ​internal recruiting ​operations architect-- lightweight, ​high-signal, founder-calibrated, data-driven
  • Establish early ​hiring brand standards and messaging ​frameworks to engage technical talent

You'll ​thrive here ​if you…

  • Have 3-6+ years of full-cycle ​technical recruiting experience, ideally with time ​at ​an early-stage startup
  • Are confident ​recruiting across deep technical ​roles (e.g., distributed systems, ​infra)
  • Can ​build trust with technical founders and ​speak ​their language ​when ​it ​comes ​to assessing talent
  • Love referral ​and outbound-driven pipelines, and know how ​to keep them ​warm and ​productive
  • Care deeply about precision, ​velocity, and ​candidate experience
  • Have worked without recruiting coordination ​support before–and ​are ​totally comfortable with ​scheduling ​yourself
  • Can ​be scrappy and do ​not need a stack of tools/resources to ​succeed
  • Are energized by early-stage ​growth and ​can ​lead process autonomously
  • Deliver results as an individual AND together as a team
